Memorial Day 2016

The blog is off today for the Memorial Day holiday, but will return tomorrow with our usual features. Today, Joshua Chamberlain and the charge of the 20th Maine at Little Round Top at Gettysburg, perhaps the most important battle in the Civil War and in the history of the United States.
